The Innocence Museum building is an old three-story house made in the 19th century. Orhan Pamuk consulted a German museum architect and other experts to turn the building into a museum. The Innocence Museum was opened to enthusiasts with a stunning arrangement.
Pamuk searched for a house that would resemble the atmosphere created in the story and finally found it in Istanbul's Cukur Juma neighborhood. During the Ottoman era, the Cukur Juma neighborhood was a place for the business of the rich people of the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
